What Is This Camp?

Human Ecology Teen Camp is an interactive experience where teens explore the relationship between nature, biology, emotions, technology, food, movement, and the human body.

Instead of sitting through lectures, students participate in live demonstrations, experiments, games, movement exercises, and group challenges that help them see and feel how their inner and outer environments affect their energy, focus, mood, strength, and wellbeing.

Why This Matters

Teenagers today are growing up in a world filled with screens, stress, overstimulation, social pressure, and disconnection from nature. This camp gives them a grounded, practical, and empowering way to understand themselves.

Our goal is to help teens develop respect for their bodies, curiosity about biology, appreciation for individuality, and a deeper connection to nature and their own internal wisdom.

What Teens Will Explore

🌱

Nature & Environment

Explore grounding, sunlight, nature connection, and the relationship between environment and wellbeing.

🧠

Nervous System

Learn how breathing, focus, emotions, and stress influence performance and resilience.

🔬

Biology in Action

Experience hands-on experiments that bring science and health concepts to life.

Technology & Biofeedback

Use devices and demonstrations to observe how the body responds in real time.

🤝

Confidence & Connection

Develop self-awareness, teamwork, communication, and authentic confidence.

🌞

Healthy Living Skills

Discover practical tools for sleep, movement, energy, focus, and wellbeing.

Science You Can Experience

Rather than simply being told what to believe, participants become researchers. They will observe how the body responds to breath, sound, posture, nature, attention, emotions, and technology.

Hands-on science and learning

Real-Time Feedback

Teens will use tools and challenges that allow them to observe changes in focus, stress, balance, and coherence.

Self-Observation

The camp helps teens become curious researchers of their own body, energy, mood, and environment.

Three-Day Camp Flow

Day 1

Your Body Is an Ecosystem

Teens learn the basic idea of terrain: the body is a living environment. We explore how thoughts, emotions, posture, breath, and surroundings can quickly change how the body feels and performs.

Day 2

The Invisible Environment

This day focuses on technology, energy, emotion, and nervous system regulation. Teens participate in demonstrations using phones, biofeedback, coherence devices, and muscle testing.

Day 3

Become Your Own Researcher

Teens put it all together through small-group experiments, movement challenges, nature-based activities, and personal reflection.

Camp Activities May Include

Biofeedback technology
Biofeedback
Breathing and calm
Breathing
Group learning outdoors
Team Challenges
Plants and nature

Bio-Well, HeartMath, focus games, nervous system challenges, and real-time feedback.

Movement & Performance

Balance, reaction time, coordination, posture, and breathing experiments.

Mind & Emotions

Focus training, emotional awareness, self-observation, and coherence exercises.

Nature Exploration

Grounding, observation, sunlight, outdoor activities, and ecological learning.

What Teens Gain

Learn how the body works and develop trust in personal observation.

Better Focus

Discover tools for attention, concentration, and performance.

Nature Connection

Reconnect with the natural world and understand our relationship with it.

Self-Awareness

Observe how thoughts, emotions, and environment affect wellbeing.

Practical Skills

Take home simple tools that can be used immediately.

Human Ecology

Understand the relationship between biology, environment, and health.

Who This Camp Is For

Curious Teens

For teens interested in science, nature, health, the body, performance, creativity, or self-awareness.

Hands-On Learners

For teens who enjoy experiments, demonstrations, technology, movement, and real-life learning more than lectures.

Modern Teens

For teens navigating stress, screens, social pressure, overstimulation, and disconnection from nature.

Health-Minded Families

For families who value natural health, regenerative living, biological education, and practical self-awareness.

What Makes This Different?

This is not a typical health class, science class, or summer camp. It is a living laboratory where teens get to observe themselves directly.

The emphasis is not on telling teens what to believe. The emphasis is on helping them ask better questions, run simple experiments, observe their own bodies, and develop grounded confidence in who they are.
